They allowed me to be subjected to the same torture as the prisoners at Abu Ghraib, while pledging a fraternity. I was blindfolded, stripped down to my boxers, and forced into cheerleader formations and dogpiles.

No. They did not force you to join a fraternity. You chose to do so and went through questionable pledge practices voluntarily.

In SA it's outlawed, probably not there though. In SA, they subject you to that, you can sue, and sucessfully so. Not everyone can live in private digs, you have to stay somewhere to attend university, and just by living somewhere does not give them the right to subject you to immature stuff like that.

no, there's a huge difference between voluntarily joining a frat and involuntarily being taken a prisoner of war.

Nope, at any time you could have walked away and chose to stay. Sorry but that is self imposed torture.
