I signed up for it because I was moving house and had stuff to get rid of and was on the lookout for people offering plants for the garden, but all I get is an inbox full of WANTED: DVD player / widescreen TV / games console / dishwasher / villa in the south of france etc! Has anyone else found it hs just turned into a wishlist for greedy chavs?!

You are right about a lot of Freecyclers, they do take the piss.
"Has anyone got a laptop/ mobile/PS3/DVD player?"
As I live in a rich area it is not the chavs who ask for all these things, it is all the rich middle class greedoids who want them.
Typical.

The worst one I saw was "My husband is a long distance lorry driver, he sleeps in his cab when he's working, and we really miss each other. Does anyone have a laptop that he can use to email me and watch DVDs on?" and then there was ... "My neice is really sick, she's only five years old and she really needs a mobile phone that works, nothing too old please." I've unsubscribed now, people were getting more and more fussy - but beggars shouldn't be choosers!
