I am looking for a fun, relaxing family vacation within driving distance to Philadephia. Hopefully someplace warm and inexpensive. Childs age 8.

Ocean City, NJ and Ocean City, MD (my favorite!!)
Both have boardwalks, beaches, and fun stuff for kids.
Baltimore, MD
Virginia Beach, VA
All the Jersey Shore points
Washington, DC
Poconos Mtns.
All are really close and you can find some inexpensive deals during the spring and summer months. I really do love Ocean City, MD. My nieces are both 7 and they picked Ocean City, MD over Disney World this year.
