Yesterday I was sitting in an armchair about 10 feet away from a closed window when suddenly the person in the other chair across the room (near another wall) saw a bright flash of light enter through the window opposite me. But what I saw in the same second was a bright sort of flame by my face like someone had lit a lighter beside my face.It felt inches away. I jumped up and then there was a click sound and the whole room was enveloped in a bright flame colored light. Then it was gone and there is no hole or anything in the window. It was lightning because there was occasional lightning outside at the time but I am stunned it came inside and almost hit me in the face! Could it have been inches away like it felt?

Absolutely. That is a remarkable story, and you are actually lucky that you didn't get hurt.
I personally haven't experienced lightning *that* closely, although I have been probably within 100 feet or so of lightning strikes, and I thought those were just terrifying. It's hard to say exactly how close your strike was, but from the sound of it I'd guess it was no further than a few feet away. I base that partly on having seen videos of very close strikes, one in which it struck the car someone was driving in while they were taping. What you describe visually seems very similar to what appeared on the videotape I saw - a click, and an extremely bright flash enveloping the car.

You get a room in the well being midsection for 2 days...or greater if its a psychological well being midsection :) yet oh wait, i heard a pair of woman who replaced into hit by way of lightning and now she has visions or some thing like that... you had the success to be hit by way of lightning?

wow i never knew lightning could possibly do that. ive had fear of lightning doing that. the closest ive ever had lightning from me was about three blocks away. enough to feel the heat from it. the just one second later Boom! but wow dude your lucky. my great great grand father got hit by lightning killed him.
