I have sold My flat bed scanner on ebay and although I had collect only or postage only in the UK (Which was well covered), I have managed to sell the item to someone in France. This was not planned or an option available yet the buyer has paid for it fare and square through paypal and there is a paid postal fee of £9.50 paid by them also. I don't know how this has happened and will honour the sale but does anyone know the best postal options and or prices?
Many thanks to all who reply.

It's probably going to cost a bit because it's gonna be heavy.
I'd recommend sending it by registered post but I'd definitely be asking the guy in France to pay the added cost, especially if you specified that it was only for buyers in the UK.

If he won't pay the extra amount, refund his payment and open an Unpaid Item Dispute (Stating that you have agreed to cancel the sale). You should be able to relist the item and sell it again (or offer a second chance to the next highest bidder).

Hope this helps.

To be honest if you stated UK or collection only i wouldnt even send it to france, this person should of seen its UK only
But i dont think you can send it to france safely for more less than £10
i wouldnt bother to be honest, i would send the money back to them and say i stated UK only
