My dear,
your only 13 :)

I think you're perfectly normal. No one grows up into an adult just like that. You're still very much a kid :) Believe me, as time goes by, you'll get more matured.

For now, just enjoy being a kid! even adults act like kids sometimes. We should never lose our sense of humour :)

Just relax, take things one at a time.

Have fun!

Honey, the first thing you should know is that there is no such thing as "normal".

Thirteen is just about the toughest age there is. Part of you wants to be grown up, part still wants to hold on to childhood.

You will grow up in your own time and way. I think the people who are criticizing you need to realize that you are not yet an adult and will not be for a few more years.

Every day from now on, you will think back to just a few weeks or months ago and think "I was so dumb then. I was such a baby then."

You and these critics have to realize that your body is starting the maturity process. You are being swamped with hormones that will develop your adult body and that it can make you an emotional train wreck.

Make yourself a big sign to hang on the door or wall.

"In time, this too shall pass."

Good luck, and remember this, everyone acted like that at 12 or 13 or even 14. They just don't remember it.

Give yourself a break Para K! If you're asking a question like this you must have a heightened awareness of the impact you have on the world. That means you're more than OK, that means you're a contributing human being. If growing up "normal" means isolating yourself from the needs of others ... who wants normal?? I think you're great.
