Does anyone know much about the mysteriosa plant? I have one in my garden which to date hasn't yet produced fruit yet can find absolutely no information on the internet?
I've tried alternative spelling with no result and we live in the Victoria Australia so help appreciated. TIA!

I think you mean a Monstera deliciosa plant. Fruit can be tricky to eat because it has fine spicules called raphides in it ... can give a prickly sensation to the tongue.

Is it really called a mysteriosa plant? Are you sure that somebody didn't just call it that because they didn't know what it was?

I'd post a description of it - and maybe a photo link - to see if anyone can identify it.
