My best friend and i have been besties for 2 years now. he always says i love you when were on the fone and tells me how beautiful i am and how gorjuz i am. we went to the movies on night with friends and he stuck his arm round my shoulders and kissed me cheek, stroked my hair and stuff. he even took his gum out ready for something ;)
he told me he liked me that night.
his recently broken up with a girlfriend and he comes to my house and we go for walks and he hugs me when he see's me. he is so nice. my formals this year in december and i dont have a partner yet. he always asks who im taking and laughs and wants to no what im wearing and such. he gets along so well with my family and chats to my mum.
is this just a best friendship or more?
please help im not sure if i like him either ? !

It really sounds to me that he wants more then just friendship. I think maybe he is scared that you will say no and he will lose the friendship if he was to say anything. So you need to decided if you like him or not..but he sounds like a really amazing person. If you decide that you like him It would be my advice for you to make the first move in taking the relationship to the next step.

Well from what you've said, it sounds like he wants this friendship to go further, he wants to be more than just a friend... be careful though coz if you take it up a level and things don't turn out right, your friendship could be gone or it could never be the same again...

you pretty much summed it up by saying "I'm not sure if i like him either"
He is just a really good friend to you and that is all you see
If it was sexual you would have done something about it by now.
He sounds like a really good FRIEND to have, some people take it that little bit further and the friendship they had just isn't the same.

well a few of my guy friends are like that but they are just touchy kind of guys(hugging...) but it definately sounds like he wouldnt mind going for more than just a friendship. or he could be on rebound and just needs some comfort and he finds that in you.
