It is a Hosta. This variety blooms white although I am not sure of the whole common name. It will get huge with tons of beautiful foliage. Blooms in summer. After about 5 years you can dig it up and divide it and have several of them. I know they love shade. The varigated variety has lavender blooms and that is what I have. I love them because they make such nice borders as they are fairly short and bushy. Nice plant loves mulch.
