The only recording I have is on the "Burnt Out in the Snow" album on audio cassette and it is very old and tired.

Tried that site - they don't even list Jim Hunter.

Hi Ollie
I've yahoo'd, I've googled, I've trawled every internet site I could think of. Having drawn a blank, I tried Yahoo answers in the hope that there might be a Scottish country music fan out there with some information - maybe a compilation album. I even tried emailing the man himself, but had no reply....

Yep. Music stores only seem to have his current albums listed and not be able to find individual tracks on compilation CDs. The original tape (recorded in 1988) was privately produced.

I think maybe the answer is just "No"....

did u try going to or calling an actual music store? or if you have the jacket from the audio tape, try writing or calling the record company that produced it?
