Why not, you can do engineering. Min 50% is the requirement, you have 55%. More over, as you have already completed a 3 year diploma. You are eligible to get direct entry to second year / 3 rd semester (insted of normal 4 years you can do it in 3 years ). More over as you have completed electrical Diploma, you have more advantage, you can score excellent marks in that subject. This results in a very good final percentage. Two days back I read in papers, due to entry of private operators, there is a shortage of 50,000 qualified persons, in ground service itself. Good luck.

Even though you have an electrical engineering diploma, you still need to start from scratch for aeronautical engineering. See what courses/subjects you did for your diploma to get exemption from similar / certain aeronautical engineering subjects. Remember, aeronautical engineering is just like mechanical engineering. Gaining a diploma won't be able to get you a top job in the aviation field. You must try to get a degree and your honours to become a competant aeronautical engineer.
