Actually, my butt is getting pretty flat and tired, sitting here getting exposed to the wisdom of the Yahoo Answers! population. Something a tad unsettleing to be communicating in writting to someone that is only known by the color of their eyes! Which sex? Any other features worthy of mention? What country? Age bracket?
My workday is soon coming to an end and then I take my 9 y/o son to play Basketball, or is this Soccer Night? My "X" has him signed into so many activities that I often feel like a driver, rather than a father. Hard to have "quality" time, when you simply take him to and from activities, but I try.
Spring is here, so that leads to fairly realistic wishes for good things, such as crops, weather, vacations, colors, lessening of the depressions that I have felt in myself and in others. I can deal with them with medications, and taking frequent trips, several of them abroad. I pitty those that are depressed, stuck in unhealthy relationships, too many children, not enough support from their "significant other" or "insignificant other", lack of funds, smoking habit, gambling habit, drinking habits, eat poorly, and battling weight problems.
I am the administrator of a small rural nursing home in the midwest of the USA. Just two minutes ago we saw one of our residents taken away by the coronor. So, yes, this does make one wonder why we feel so down, when things could be much, much worse. This sort of thing simply drives me, more and more, to do more positive, pleasurable things with my life, before they haul me out for my last ride.
When my father passed, my mother sort of wokeup. She asked if she had enough money to go to a nursing home? I informed her that she didn't need to worry about that. She asked if she had enough money to buy new kitchen cabinets? I told her not to worry about that, of course she could afford that. I was fairly shocked when this 78 y/o Catholic woman took of on a trip to the Holly Land, Rome, Cairo, etc. She tried to see everything she could that related to her Roman Catholic upbringing.
I suspect I am doing the same, but on a different timetable. I'm 54 y/o and plan to do whatever I want, whenever I want, as long as I can enjoy it. Not interested in a vacation wearing Grampers (Pampers).
So, yes, I am feeling fine. Funny how writting on this website, to people I don't even know exist for real, makes my day more fulfilling. Cheaper than a counselor, and a bit anonymous, to boot.
Please enjoy your life.

Not too bad. I'm coming to the end of my workday so I'm pretty jazzed. I have a doctor's appt afterward and it's going to hurt though so I'm not as jazzed as I could be. Thanks for asking and I'm glad you are doing good!!!
