No, Capitalism is not the root of evil on Mother Earth. Every crime has its roots in the ego of a person. A person devoid of ego never commits a crime.

Saints and sages do not pursue evil. Every wanton desire... the greed for materialistic riches is prompted by the ego of one.

Living in a family one may be devoid of ego still, the ego of the child... his wanton desires may become the cause for evil.

Anyone who values self esteem must never indulge in acts that boost our ego. Devoid of ego... one reaches the stage of Mahavira, Buddha or Jesus Christ. More on root of all evil here - http://www.godrealized.com/aham_ego.html

Well i believe that capitalism is not the root of all evil but sheer capitalism without any laws or ethics sure is. It makes humans like the animals in the jungle and even worse because the best does not always prevail, some times the strongest who prevails is not always the best but the one with the most connections, if you understand what i meen.

Capitalism promotes abuse of individuals as well as groups of individuals .
Thats why we have a diplomatic department in many nations around the world .
It facilitates the exploitation of others globally .
It is how deals are made with local landowners and government officials to expand Capitalism .
That land was taken from the people much like the land was taken from the Indians and Mexicans and cleared and settled by the slaves imported to do the labor and work .
Capitalism is a class system in the sense that it creates divisions within its work place .

While the workers provide all the labor ,the executives enjoy the benefits .
Private jets , limo service , company paid credit cards with no limits .

So those in power abuse those who do all the work . See they have the money which it seems everyone wants to trade for services .

Capitalism prevents the one truly free enterprise that people have .
The right to sell their body for a fee for a period of time .

True capitalists know that people only want food shelter and sex .

They capitalize on the sex game all the time . Why else couple people for life if you did not want some control over spending habits .
They have created a consumer market which should not exist .
Sold you on the concept of beauty .

I believe sincerely that any political system that incentivizes its citizens to perform and produce goods and services is a good system. Capitalism is the only system I've seen that does this. So how could this be evil?

Seems to me that anything that did otherwise would be the evil system. In my mind, the only "evil" political systems in the world today are those that are fun by religious fanatics such as in Iran. Anyone that advocates killing others "in the name of Allah" is really evil.

I also believe socialism is evil in practice but looks good in theory. It's wrong to take away from someones hard work, then give that benefit to someone that chooses to not work hard.

No Capitalism is not the root. It's Greed. Greed is the Root. Greed is what drives people to profit off of War and killing.
The Military Industrial Complex is the co-existance between the Federal Military and American Industry.
When the Military goes to war, it consumes hundreds of billions of dollars worth of stuff. Stuff like photocopiers, copy paper, computers, contracts with para-militia groups, tanks, bombs, bullets, guns, clothing, food, Chevy Pickups, Ford pasangers cars, GM products, Goodyear tires, OIL and Gasoline, and Aircraft Fuel, and on and on and on.
If you are really rich and own thousands of shares in any one of the companies that the Department of Defense has a contract with, you will profit BIG Time!!!!
So, you would say to the military ....."Go get 'em boys, go make me richer!!!"
Think about all the politicians. In order to get the necessary money to start a career in politics, you need millions of your own personal dollars to get into office. It's just like starting up you own business, you need lots of your own savings to start up. After start-up, you find ways to repay your investment.
And this is how it is with Politicians and the Billionairs who back them.
It's all GREED driven.
Greed uses Capitalism to get from point a to point b.
Then, once the capitalistic Rich jerks start seeing their weatlh slow down, they make an investment in the right Politician's pocket hoping to get a War started somewhere so that more money will be generated.
Capitalism is an innocent victim. The Rich GREEDY Jerks in the world have used captialism in an unhealthy way. If you research Pres George Bush, and Vice President Dick Cheney you will see that they are heavilty invested in the Military Industrial Complex.
Did you know that even Condolizza Rice was a member of the Board of Directors for Chevron Oil and they used to have an Oil Tanker Named after her?????
GREED Man, it's all about Greed!!!!

Communism kills! This is not debatable. The record is crystal clear. The U.S. Senate Internal Security Subcommittee conducted investigations into the number killed in the Soviet Union and China. Their report stated that 35 million to 45 million had been killed in the Soviet Union and 34 million to 62.5 million in Communist China.

Even these figures are considered inadequate by authorities on the Soviet Union such as Solzhenitsyn and Antonov Ovesyenko. The latter, whose father led the Bolshevik storming of the Winter Palace in 1917, has recently published the book entitled The Time of Stalin-Portrait of a Tyranny. He calculates those killed as a result of the Communist conquest of Russia at 100 million.

Some apologists for Communism acknowledge that Communism has killed in the past, but they blame this on incidental factors such as the traditions of cruelty and violence which existed in the countries conquered by the Communists, and they do not believe that killing is an essential ingredient of communism itself. They believe that the triumph of Communism in the United States, England, or Western Europe would not lead to mass slaughter. Are they right or are they suffering from a dangerous delusion? To answer this question, it is necessary to know why Communism kills.

Why
A simple, direct answer to the question, "Why does communism kill?" is-because the founder of Communism, Karl Marx, told them it was necessary to kill a large segment of the population in order to attain the basic objective of Communism.

Marx states in the Manifesto of the Communist Party:

No. Capitalism is an off-shoot of ingenuity, individual achievement and accomplishment, initiative, reward for talent and skill, it promotes the best that society can offer. It also provides a means of being rewarded for hardwork for good labor practices. Free markets open more employment opportunites through job growth. On the contrary, the opposite (socialism) thwarts individual progress, freedom of expression, and initiative, it can become bureaucratic and economically stunted and bloated.

Capitalism is indeed a bad way to go...it incites the need for each person to be better than the next guy...it leads to a large divide between poverty and wealth..as can be seen in the US with one extreme being very rich and elitist and the other poor and down trodden. Who votes Republican...middle..to upper class. Who votes Democrat? Lower class. I'm no socialist...however te US needs to more to a more democratic government..one in whci there is social inclusion.
