I have always found that NTL have been a good reasonable company, they have now been taken over by Virgin, i pay £18 a month for a 10 mg broadband. (i think its mg all i know is that it is very fast and goes to all our PC's at home)
We have never had any problems with them, and at the moment the are doing a good deal for new users.

Skybroadband are doing a deal at the moment but ur internet will still effectively come from bt as u will need to keep ur bt land line and they can't guarantee ur internet speed!!!....virgin media (formerlly ntl: telewest) are very good, I am with them and they are doing deals just as good as sky at the moment but can guarantee ur internet speed as it doesnt go thro ur telephone line.

If you switch to Talk Talk You pay your line rental £11.00(per month) and Talk3 which includes inclusive free calls at anytime, day or night £8.99.On top of that you get Free Broadband.Total cost £19.99 per month.According to what you pay per quarter that's a saving of £160.00.It's a no brainier.
