I have always found that NTL have been a good reasonable company, they have now been taken over by Virgin, i pay £18 a month for a 10 mg broadband. (i think its mg all i know is that it is very fast and goes to all our PC's at home)
We have never had any problems with them, and at the moment the are doing a good deal for new users.

Skybroadband are doing a deal at the moment but ur internet will still effectively come from bt as u will need to keep ur bt land line and they can't guarantee ur internet speed!!!....virgin media (formerlly ntl: telewest) are very good, I am with them and they are doing deals just as good as sky at the moment but can guarantee ur internet speed as it doesnt go thro ur telephone line.
