No, he shouldn't. We can't blame only the captain for the team's poor performance in the World Cup. Everyone needs to do well at the right time, the problem with India is that only one or a couple of players perform when needed.

Dropping Dravid won't solve the team's batting problems. rather than looking for another captain, the line-up should be modified and improved. It's as if India are still experiementing with which batting order works best for them, but not found the correct one yet. Sehwag hasn't performed well since as long as I remember (apart from against Bermuda), and our bowling is nowhere near as strong as other teams. This is where changes should be made.

Lets look at the question logically. India could not make to the super 8 but is it only the captain who should take all the flak - if yes why do u need another 10 players at all. Yes some of his decisions went wrong ( the same people would have called the same decisions as a wonderful new strategy, had we won).
Removing Dravid at this stage would only send a wrong signal & bring further uncertainty within the team.
Let him stay on ( unless with all the missiles being hurled, the poor chap doesn't quit himself) for a season or two & by that time really groom a person who can take his place. Today I feel that in the entire world the most thankless job is that of an Indian Cricket Team Captain. So let the Yuvraj's sit back for a while & concentrate on their own batting instead of breathing down Dravid's back.
