I think it really depends on what you want a band for. They can cost anything from £50 onwards. Try the internet or local newspapers

Depends on what sort of band you are after and how far they have to travel. Most club bands will go out for around £300.00.
You could try contacting Entertainment Agencies or check out the local bands in your area.

Depends on how good/popular the band is to how much they charge. If you want a pro band find an agent or manager in the directory.
