Communism is much, much better than capitalism, if it is not attacked or hampered by the rich democratic liars.
Democracy is communism.

I would say the worst of the five is having NEITHER;
the second worst is having COMMUNISM in its Soviet Union form;
the third worst is probably having DEMOCRACY in its present form (where the rich and the biggest multinational corporations rule and the ordinary voters & workers have no real say);
So the best two outcomes are either having both (a world in which the state looks after people, runs competing companies, guarantees its citizens good work and income), and the government consists either of a panel of worldwide trade union leaders (who in turn are elected by their members in multicandidate elections), or, my personal favourite, a multiparty system of democracy (like the present ones but without the big money contributions from the big guys being permitted), which looks after its poor, guarantees to offer all a good choice of good jobs, and where company managers have to do what their employees and consumers agree on (on issues where the two agree, where they don't the company managers can still rule).

Both have their limitations because they are ideologies which have proven very difficulty to fully realised in reality, In Western democracies - a significant proportion of the population are disenfrancished and thus unable to participate in democracy - (ie the homeless, poor etc do not vote). Also the political options are often limited (ie in the UK there are really only 2 main parties).
Communism seems to offer security for society - but this is at the expense of any individualism. Why should you strive to get a better job etc if your pay etc is limited by the state. What happens if the state is not benign and does not act in the interest of the people?
In conclusion I would a socialist democracy - one in which allows people to truly vote in the government they want.

Both have their problems. In theory, Communism looks the best but in practice, it cannot work. It removes incentive to produce from the human equation and the result is a complete lack of innovation.
Democracy is unstable and begins to self destruct somewhere after being in place for about 200 years (Aristotle). It's vulnerable to corruption and unfair practices and generally predates upon its own people. This predation continues until it can no longer function as a democracy. The only real positive side is there is some innovation as its citizens are incentivized to produce. At first, there are lots of freedoms but these are gradually lost as the democracy ages and the govt gains more and more power.
Both fail over time. Not sure what is the best political system. Perhaps the Republic the USA first had was the best but as Benjamin Franklin said in a speech, "We give you a Republic, it is your job to hold onto it." Which we have not done!!!
The answer is probably something undiscovered as yet. Probably the best political system is one that meshes well with the culture that follows it. The hybrid communism model the Chinese follow seems to work well with a ting of capitalism thrown in. But this works with their culture and would not work well in another culture.

Democracy. But Communism works in small closed societies.
But your question does not make sense because communism is not a political system, it is an economic system. I do not like communism because it takes away incentive to produce, work, or be creative. Since if a person works hard on something it will be taken away to benefit the good of the many.

When the Soviet Bloc was at its peak, the interpretation of the word "democracy" was that it meant the same thing as "communist". When crossing the frontier from West Berlin, under American, French or British control into East Berlin, which was under soviet control a large notice said in several languages "you are now entering the DEMOCRATIC zone".
The Soviets also claimed all their government and Head of State were chosen by the people, as everything belonged to the people, so only they practised true democracy because they practised communism. Many might disagree, but that was their interpretation.

Neither. America is a Republic. I like it that way. America was never a democracy. Look all 3 forms of government up in the dictionary, and you will see what we are. Below is an online dictionary you can use. Enjoy your investigation. By the way, Communism never works, makes people poor, and starving. North Korea is, the people from the old USSR did, and China is. All Communist nations.

Actually the idea of Communism is found in the Bible. God instituted a system for the Israelites whereby all property and indentured servants would return to the original owner or family every 50 years and all debts were cancelled, so that it was impossible for any of them to be permanently poor or in debt. These provisions were given as commandments in Leviticus Chapter 25 and Deuteronomy 15 and known as the Year of Jubilee.
When Karl Marx, a Jew of course, threw out the practice of religion from his Communist ideal, he threw away the baby with the bathwater. That's why it never worked.

Someone refers to an on line dictionary about a difference between a republic and a democracy;well,according that dictionary(interp.2) there is no difference;indeed there is no difference,unless Aristotle talks about the one and he means
another;simply democracy is a very flexible system of government adapting to various characteristics of the society
that applies democracy and sometimes modifies some proceedural aspects...it has its weeknesses but through a system of checks and balances it succeeds in correcting itself.Communism on the other hand lacks that very system of
checks and balances peculiar to democracy and as a result it
ends as a bureaucratic dictatorship at its best...

Why would that even be a question? Communism has been a failure, and please don't hold China up as a commy success because its nothing like the Mao communism it stated to be, further more its probably more capitalistic than some of the nations in Europe at this point. OK, so that leaves you with Cuba and North Korea as the only two communist nations left, and we all know what a success they are LOL

They both have advantages and disadvantages. I prefer an actual democracy not like the one today but i am not sure if something like this can exist, but i think it has a lot of possibilities. Communism as Marx ment communism has been proven that can not exist, it ends up like dictatorships.
