If you truly want something to happen jinn (the unseen) will appear before you and scare the crap out of you. Same thing with the Ouija board.
JINN:
Invisible beings living among us humans. The highest of the jinns is Iblis, formerly called Azazel, the prince of darkness, or the Devil. The jinns were thought by some to be spirits that are lower than angels because they are made of smokeless fire and are not immortal. They can take on human and animal shapes to influence men to do good or evil. Or they can posses you.
God forbade the jinn to interfere with humans lives, but some like to disobey. Its also not wise for us humans to call upon them because only the disobeying bad ones appear. We are supposed to co-exist peacefully and not interfere with each other.
I've played bloody Mary before when I was younger and nothing happened, but you never know when an evil jinn is listening.

Nothing happens, but kids and preteens usually have a good time scaring themselves with this old game. When I was a kid someone always brought up this "game" at slumber parties, etc. There were always many girls who just couldn't bring themselves to do it - at least alone. But usually you could convince 2 or more to do it together. There was generally the requisite screaming, followed by 2 or 3 girls running scared out of the bathroom, followed by tons of giggling. Good Luck, I hope YOU don't see Bloody Mary when you do this!

You will see a face in the mirror. The trick is that it's your own face. The science behind it is that it takes time for your eyes to adjust to the dark. The time it takes to say "bloody mary" 3 times gives your eyes time to adjust to the dark and you begin to see your own face in the mirror. btw, it can be anytime as long as it's dark, midnight just makes it seem scarier.

me and my friends used to do this all the time, we'd get so scared we could never finish. so finally we went into a grocery store bathroom and did it. right when we hit the third bloody marry the bathroom door flew open and there stood the scarriest looking old lady i have ever seen she had long grey hair but it was sticking out everywhere, she pushed the door open with her cane. we all ran out screaming. no she wasnt the bloody mary or anything but it was just fun to get scared
