If you are British, you are the most humble subject of Her Majesty, like it or not. Simple.
If you don't like it- leave.
No soldier would ever say such treasonous or seditious slander- so I would love to introduce one to you.

Yes I agree but they are entitled to their opinion just like you and I.
One thing I do agree with Prince Philip about are his views about the over-population of the world.
They are part of an institution that has a great deal of value. They do not govern us.That is done by the government.
I for one, hope they continue in their present role. Through all the upheavals of politics they continue to be the icons of our great country.

I think in his position he doesn't really care what you might think. That's the privilege of birth and being Royalty and I'm not even a royalist. I think they are a great tourist attraction though and they bring in a lot of revenue for the country.

People criticise the Royal Family, which is fair enough. But consider this - If you were born into a life of privelage and wealth, would you give it up and live a normal life just because people want you to?

They actually do alot for this country believe it or not, and If it wasn't for our monarchy you wouldn't get as many tourists for starters.
If your not happy about them there is nothing stopping you from leaving the country.
