Signed into order by the CHAIRMAN and EVERY MEMBER of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the plan (read it yourself) calls for innocent Citizens to be shot on American streets; American ships to be sunk; for a wave of violent "terrorism" to be launched in major East coast cities.

Operation Northwoods calls for Foreign Nationals to be framed for bombings they did not commit; and for planes to be hijacked and crashed into landmarks. Using the phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on a foreign country, giving Political and Military leadership the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they need to launch a war.

Before everyone thinks that they would never do this, think again. What is a measly 3,000 people to start a war as far as the military is concerned? And lets make this perfectly clear: If the terrorists really wanted to do damage, they would have had waited till around 11: 00 am to hit the Twin Towers to kill many more civilians (as many as 50,000 are around that area at that time. Someone had a conscience. Terrorists do not.

Again, if further proof is needed about these facts for those who think "Our government would never do that!" should go to website prison-planet.com and other sites that indeed have evidence that some of the buildings around the site came down a few hours later with explosives. Any one who knows about demolition know its takes more than a few hours to have the building implode perfectly within itself.

Also see the proof from the people who actually built the Twin Towers, not a bunch of government hacks. Check the video from goggle on this. Very enlightening. These buildings would not have come down period. Also, we should check into the Pentagon crash. Something about a missile? Guess they needed some upgrades anyways.

You are so funny. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and offers people a chance to change the results on the page. It doesn't take facts to do that. If you read it correctly, it is made up of statements by others, not absolute facts. As to the first link, what does the invasion plans of Cuba have to do with hijacking planes? Cuba didn't hijack anything, and nor did America. Your information is totally incorrect. Never trust websites, they might make you think something is true when it isn't. Be careful. Use your brain instead of reading and believing something somebody else typed and made a website to make money on.

Loads of people know about this. It is a fact. Sadly, many Americans prefer the head-in-the-sand approach. My own (American) cousin said she just didn't 'want to believe it.' Your sources could be better, though--Wikipedia is never good. Here are some more:

This is not the first time America has used such tactics--they are common strategies seen also in the Spanish-Cuban-American war (America blew up its own ship for an excuse to get invovled and control Cuba).

Since there were terrorists who were plotting against the US, and the government knew it, why wouldn't they just do the simple thing-- allow the terrorist to hijack a plane or four planes. The administration ignored so many warnings immediately prior to Sep 11, 2001, that that this is an easy and logical inference to make.
