Maybe you feel there is no answer to your question, but I have very good news for you today!

Humans were created by God, to live in a deep and close friendship with Him - a relationship of love. We were also made to be dependent on God, with God as the loving ruler, and humans as obedient subjects under His rule.

The God that Jesus revealed is not like a dictator ruling the down-trodden masses, but is a loving and good Father caring for His children.

Only when we live in that relationship of love and dependence on God, can we know what it is to be truly free and live life to the maximum.

Don't fight the truth anymore - take one small step of faith and believe the Gospel. - You will never regret it my friends!

For I know the plans I have for you says God,
Plans for good and not for evil
Plans to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29 v 11

I do not know how many times I have asked that question.
Before I came to know Jesus, probably countless. But after... not nearly so often.
I know I can rest in Him.

I know I'm going to be getting a thumbs down for this I feel it coming but:

I never ask myself "What's the point of life?". I actually ask myself (as shown by some of my answers on yahoo) "Why does existence exist?". And I don't mean why do we (as humans) exist or why does god exist. I actually mean why does existence exist.

Some people will say that god created man and then some others will say ok who created god to create man. But I go further then that...who created the being that created god that created man? But go beyond that and keep adding "who created the being that created....." and so forth. By asking that you come to the realization that sooner or later it will be considered and infinite loop cycle. You will always be asking who...but never why. So instead of who created who why not ask why does creation of anything exist.

Ok my mind is hurting...back to Nietzsche, Hawkings, Heidegger, and so forth.

Islam and, to a lesser extent, Christianity, both demand submission to God. I don't believe a good Lord would demand us to submit to Him and be his spiritual slave... that is disgusting and wrong. God, whatever he is, is far from perfect himself. The sooner man accepts his faults the sooner he can overcome (some) of them.

The meaning of life is NOT procreation -- this is to you, poor people! Having more babies solves nothing. That said, I think the meaning of life is the pursuit of knowledge and growth, spiritual and mental.
