I can't think of anyone in that style who is nearly as technically skilled. Alot of folks like Johnny Copeland. For that durty tex-mex sound I usually go for early ZZ Top. Laredo and Blue Jean Blues both have nice guitar work in them.

I don't know if you will like him but I love Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Stevie was his influence.
