I've been a loyal of both shows from the very begining and to be honest it's difficult to say and family guy can't be the same because i'm pretty sure Fox won't allow family to be way it used to be or else it will get the axe again.

Totally. I used to love Family guy but since i started watching South Park my view has changed.

I watched both shows once and found them excessively gross. I won't watch them at all.
