I dyed my hair, and didnt realise that i'd got a couple of spots on the vinyl floor in the bathroom.
It was a semi-permanent, and I've tried CillitBang, Fairy power spray, nail varnish, even milk!
It was a genuine mistake, but just want to clear it up before I pack my bags!!

Have you tried Ace its a bleach but 4 colours, normal bleach would be too much an prob make things worse , put a cookie cutter on the stain so you can see the stain in the middle of it then put some tissue or cloth around it in case , pour some of the ace on to the stain the cookie cutter and cloth should stop it going everywhere else leave it there for a fwe minutes then wipe it away, fingers crossed that may work , it worked on my floor when i had red dye on mine. Good luck.

Tell your boyfriend to calm down for heaven's sake and offer to pay for a new vinyl floor. That stain probably won't come out. With the tiny square footage of a bathroom it'll come to about $40, and why is that worth having a fight over? Maybe you can even go shopping for the new vinyl together and have a laugh. If he's so tense that he can't get over a little replaceable mistake then he's probably going to be a very rigid, unforgiving person in life and you should consider that one of the factors of whether he's in it for the long term.

I have done this before and guess what... it just fades away. I have even gotten dye in the sink and thought that we were screwed(we live in an apartment) and would have to replace the sink when we moved. The stain gets rubbed off after a while. if you want it gone right now, try the WD-40. It takes care of almost anything.

try lysol, not cleaner, but the spray/ air freshener. just spray it on the spot and rub. might work. does remove permanent (sharpie) marker, kool-aid stains, and food coloring from countertops. never tried it for hair dye, but it is 'dye' like the food coloring is a dye tooo, so y not? worth a shot. what have u got to lose? good luck! and tell bf to chill.

Try cigarette ash. It's supposed to work if you have dyed a bit of your skin with hair dye. Sounds yucky but worth a go!

Fairy Liquid?

If you have access to it, cigarette ashes mixed with a bit of rubbing alcohol to make a paste works well. Place it on their and let it sit for about 20 minutes and wipe up. If it doesn't bring it up, try some bleach if it's a white floor, and if it's not, try some drinking alcohol.

I say you smack your boyfriend with something metal and fairly heavy. Tell him to get over it.

I think your boyfriend needs to take a chill pill, we all do daft things like that and its not as if you havnt tried to clean it up. These things happen. Someone will be able to suggest a cleaner to get the stain off

Try the stuff called OOPS. You can buy it at walmart in the paint department. If that doesn't get it out nothing will. Good luck
