how can I advance to the catacombs in prince of persia warrior within?

after beating the empress, the whole place blows up, instead of dahaka chasing me. then the next scene would be back at the beach. how can i get to the catacombs? please help me i don't know what to do. i 've defeated the empress a thousand times already

Start a new game, and be careful about back tracking from one time to the next. Once you beat the Empress, a cut scene should occur on the beach. The "Dhaka glitch" is supposedly caused from going back and forth to many times. I have mixed feelings about this game. The walkthrough below should prevent it.
