can anybody explain this movie-it's crazy i dont get it

I'm not sure there is anything to explain. David Lynch's movies are like bad dreams. They are very disconnected and rarely have a straight-forward plot. He's more interested in atmosphere and mood than he is in story. Some people dig that approach, others don't.

the movie is mainly about, sex, lust, cheating, betrayel, payback, guilt. It really flows around sinning
