what does "wallow in " mean? any other phrases that are synonymous with that? I will be grateful if you give some examples!

It means you're sulking in your sorrow. You're feeling bad about yourself and you really have no intention of making yourself feel better.

Pigs "wallow" in mud. It's the same concept. You'll sit and mope, laze around in your own sorrow and sadness.
