I dont know exactly what this means but both my underarms and on the sides of my breasts are sore. I have not had my period for a while and I think my body may be fighting an infection of some sort. Does anyone know what this means? could it be a sign of pregnancy?

SEE A DOCTOR; it could be a sign of pregnancy gone wrong.

"If you experience any right or left lower quadrant pain or even diffuse abdominal pain, shoulder pain, fever or dizziness, get medical attention right away."

When I miscarried, I was asked incessantly if my shoulders/underarms hurt. Not a good sign. Sorry. Get medical attention ASAP; it's not something you should wait for an appointment for.

i was at the doctors just last nite and made him check my underarms cos theyr sore, i can feel the glands under there and he said if u search u will, so u only need to have a light feel around to see if theye swollen, i reckon mine get sore if i shaved a few days before, or if ive worn a tight top that presses into that area, he said the more u feel around there the more tender they get, they arnt a pregnancy symptom, u could b getting your period and thats why your breasts r sore too, i think weve got glands in our breasts so if your periods coming on the glands in there can get sore too, but having said that your breast change when your pregnant too, u never know if u are, unless u take a test, good luck

Sounds like your lymph nodes in the breast and underarm. Need to go to the Dr. to check and see if you are ok. Sounds like you might have a major infection going on.

It sounds like it could be hormonal, but may also be your lymph node or something serious. You should have your doc check you out. Here is a website with a message board and a woman who seemed to have the same problem as you. Hope it might help. http://www.medhelp.org/forums/BreastCancer/messages/3992.html
