After asking a question regarding our little one that kept burping up a lot of milk, we were advised by a few to try Infacol. She has never had colic that we know of, just a few griping pains for a few mins after a feed but she does hold on to her wind a lot. Certainly not the hours of inconsoleable crying that some babies suffer with.

Tried the Infacol last night and I am well impressed. After feeding I tipped her from reclined to the upright position and a massive burp came out without me doing anything !! Over the next two feeds she did the same at at 9pm she slept through til 3am which is the longest she ever went (normally 3 hours)

Are there any probs we should look out for with using this product, whats in it and how does it work, I am more concerned that its a drug or chemical of some sort that may not do her much good in the long term

Infocol works for sure, it gathers up the little bubbles of air and joins them into one bubble, I used it for my daughter (now age 3) but it was a little stong for my son (age 11 months now) he would get really bad pains and cry when i gave it to him - because the burp was coming. I found a natural remedy (from Australian chemists) called colic relief and also another one called calm baby (by a company called braur i think)

As a mum of two kids, I think if something works for you and the baby then there couldn't be any harm done, i think if the baby is getting out of pain by you using it, then do it!!! Once they get a bit older they just burp on their own while you are feeding them, so even if you used it every day, its only for a couple of months - and more sleep for baby means more sleep for you !! So do it! :)

my baby is 3 months old now and i have been useing infacol from birth and am also v.impressed. if you make sure you give her infacol before every feed, it makes it even easyer for her to bring up wind but it only works if you stick to it. infacol will have no bad effects on your baby now or in the future! also... avent bottles are best to reduce colic!
