How would you know for sure if someone has in fact changed their ways?
The person really seems to have learnt his lesson..

Remember that actions speak louder than words. Don't go by what they say because people can and will tell you what you want to hear only so they get what they want to recieve.

Yes this is very much possible and can happen. However what do you mean change their ways? What did they need to change about themselves if i may ask and how long have they seemed to change ...I would say to wait at leat 6 months or more to see if they have really changed or if it is just an act. Sometimes people pretend to change or try and it does not last or work out and they divert back to their old ways once again. If they truley have changed it will stay consistant and they will not divert back.

Well time will tell if it is a real long-lasting change or a way to get back in your good graces. hopefully he learned a lesson

Isn't that what trust is all about? Only time will tell for sure. Is the relationship worth you waiting it out to see if he really has changed?

I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION DID THE PERSON ONLY DO IT ONCE,OR DOES THAT PERSON HAVE A HISTORY OF DOING IT ,IF THERE IS A HISTORY THEY MAY NEVER CHANGE IT MAY JUST BE THE WAY THEY ARE,AND IF IT HAD TO DO WITH LOVE,THAT CAN BE TRICKY IF THEY DID YOU WRONG IN THE LOVE DEPARTMENT,THEN MAY BE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEIR HEART IN THE RIGHT PLACE I BELIEVE IF YOU REALLY LOVE SOMEONE YOU CAN DO NO WRONG,OR YOU DIDN'T REALLY LOVE THEM TO START WITH BECAUSE REAL LOVE IS STRONGER THAN ANYTHING

it takes time to see if the person will do it again a month or 2 will really tell but somepeople never change

Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do.Watch their behavior, body language and especially their eyes. Do they look at you or do they look away when they talk to you?

Do you truely ever know if someone has changed?....I don't think so.....You either want to be with them or you don't....
