The Flushing Meadows Resort in Panglao comes highly recommended.
The VIP guests of most Boholano government officials are frequently billeted at this resort. If, of all Bohol resorts, this is the one resort they use to showcase Bohol's beauty, then there must be something to it.
It has a private beach, an international standard tennis court (which is where it gets its name, after Flushing Meadows in New York where the US Open tennis tournament is held), and centers for fishing and diving, among a host of other topnotch facilities. All Guest rooms are air-conditioned, come with private balconies, and have a lot of great amenities.

I can recommend Dumaluan beach for best but cheaper resort in bohol. Recently had arranged company outing of Multifreight company , its last week at Dumaluan and got feedback that they had very good experienced as whole for the package that they availed. Apparently there is a great place to stay called something Nuts in Bohol its on the river and its run by a Swedish couple. When I was in Bohol I stayed at a crappy over priced place on the beach but I wished I stayed at that nuts place.
Does anyone know what the full name is its something Nuts on the river?

I've been to Dumaluan Beach Resort just last year.
It's so great to be one of the guests 'coz this resort is so clean and beautiful, all the staffs are friendly and accomodating plus if you need something it's all in the resort..name it, they have it.. great foods, beautiful and affordable accomodations, nice swimming pool, beautiful and relaxing beach... it's really everybody's recommendation when we were still looking for a resort... Staying in Dumaluan Beach Resort is never a regret. Really worth it!

* Hospitable staff
* Wonderful and 'homey' bungalos (sp?)
* They have a man-made island in the middle of the sea (not exactly) very spectacular!
