As a South African, I would dearly love them to win. They stand an excellent chance as their game has gone from strength to strength the past couple of years. BUT in the game of cricket so many things contribute to the end result. For one the bad weather over in the West Indies. The duckworth-lewis system might be a good thing but invariably favour the side that batted first. How many times did we see a team play poorly and in the last 10 overs suddenly woke up and won a game comprehensively. With the d/l system it does not work that way. The Australian team might have strong batsmen at present but I do not think they have the chance this time. I would, apart from SA, say that New Zealand stand a very good chance of winning it, even if it is only for their consistency. BUT in the world of the cricket game we might get a big surprise and the West Indies might take it - with their expertise on the uneven, fairly new pitches!! My money - SOUTH AFRICA!!!!!!!!!

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of the world cup and for that matter any tournament.
While Australia are hot favourites to win the world cup, one or two bad performance by them will ruin their chances. As it stands now whichever team perform to their potential consistently during the super 8 stages are likely to be the winners.

Sri Lanka will win the world cup. They are the best side and seem to be overlooked by everyone. The bookies will make a mint when Sri Lanka win it

Hey during the league matches i used http://www.action8cricket.com they were awesome specially there support i mailed them 3
times and got answers within 30 mins intially there picture quality was pathetic but now what i saw in last 5 games was
truely appreciatable hope they continue the good work hats off to the quality and support.
