Memory Transfer To PS3?

Hi there just started my journey into the new PS3 and am loving it but i can't seem to tranfer the saved details of ps2 into the ps3, where do i fit the memory card into to transfer it to the HDD. pls help

you need to buy a special adaptor which plugs in to the USB on your ps3. and on the other end is a slot for the HDD. then you can transfer games from the memory card on the HDD of the ps3
