First of all the burning of ones flag does not represent wrongdoing or unfaithful acts against ones country. So say many agencies like the ACLU and the Government at this time. It is the first ammendment that allows this and they have the right not only to there opinion, but to express the opinion. No group should attempt to overthrow our government or take action to cause harm or inflict pain to others. The only way to let others know you do not agree with actions take is to let them know and with the governments that is by having supporters and peaceful rallys.
If they are terrorist supporters living in the USA then they are of course in the wrong place to be protesting as it will only do harm to them and will change nothing in my opinion. My question is Why do terrorists live here if they support terrorists and why would they then bring attention to themselves.
I do not think they are burning the flag to support terror; but to represent what our country was founded on which was freedom from tyrany and oppression.
These so called terrorist supporters are not supporters at all. they are just sending there message in a peaceful non combatant way that they do not agree with a government decision(s).

I'll try to explain this so you can understand it. Flag burning, something I consider abhorrent and wrong, is Constitutionally Protected Free Speech as determined by the Supreme Court. If you are a true patriotic American you need to stand up for all of our rights, not just the ones you support. And advocating violence, as you have, against those who are exercising their freedoms is not only childish but illegal. Besides, always let those who look foolish talk, it allows them to show themselves for who they truly are.
Now, it seems I have touched a nerve with you. If you truly want to look like an adult do not post your ill informed opinions or chase people down in other categories to continue your childishness and then hide behind the Internet. I have the guts to post a picture, email address and my 360 page on my profile. You don't even have the guts to allow email. If you are sharp enough there is enough information there to find me in person. If you disagree with me you are welcome to email me or heck, even come here and discuss your displeasure but do not threaten me over flag burning on a question about PETA.

The only terrorist support I really care about is stopping their funding and starving them out. Much of the rest of the posturing about "emboldening the enemy" is just a distraction from the REAL job.

Advocates for Peace would never support terrorists, and terrorists do not seem to like them either, based on kidnappings, etc.
Only a person with a seriously flawed thought process could equate pressing for peace and supporting terrorists.
The real supporters of terror are the ones continuing the fiasco in Iraq. Every day we remain there we are generating more terrorists world wide than we are killing.
Each surviving family member of those pesky collateral damage statistics, that we don't track, is a potential recruit, as are their children. That infers possible exponential growth in numbers.
An army of aid workers could defeat the terrorists, the US Army can not. A foreign standing army in occupation can not enforce peace with firearms.
Think just for a minute. If the war was happening against the US, and we had a foreign military occupying our lands, would we all just concede their better ideas and be led like sheep?
Our history would suggest not. We would have a resistance, and we would use every tactic within our abilities and supplies to fight them until they left. Would we label ourselves as terrorists, or insurgents, or freedom fighters?
We still tend to ignore unjust or unfair laws given to us by OUR government. 3.5 million drug users in the legal system, and the US government is still losing the war on drugs, for one example.
The only way to prevent further deaths of our servicemen and women as well as reduce the total number of Iraqi deaths caused by our invasion is to leave now.
There will be a period of chaos after we leave whether we leave now, next year or in ten years.
The UN could be very helpful here. See HR 1234.
We missed our window for success in Iraq because of the failures of this administration in it's conduct after "mission accomplished".
Failure to secure weapons, the borders, cash, US arms, "Bring Em On!", dissolving all societal structures, Using napalm, white phosphorous, and depleted uranium munitions in, near, or on civilian populations, etc, etc, etc...
If I didn't know better, I might be lead to believe that a stable, democratic Iraq was never the real goal of our endeavors. We seem to have almost purposely ensured that there would be no peace after our invasion, no strong democracy to take care of it's people.
It is almost as if a stable, democratic Iraq might have some reservations about turning over it's oil fields to US corporations, building permanent US bases in their country, reopening the Iraq to Israel oil pipeline, or any number of other issues dictated since our take over of the country.
As far as the flag burners go, I have no problem with them. They should burn several a day. The more they burn, the more they have to buy, and as far as I know, that is one industry that hasn't outsourced to Asia or Mexico.
Burn the flag to buy American, I say!
Some may not agree, OK with me.
The only way to end the threat of terrorism is through thorough, transparent, trials and prosecutions of those involved, and to quit killing or allowing the deaths of innocents worldwide.
We have to end blind support of our allies when they are wrong, and we have to be able to listen to others to get an idea of when we are wrong. The one voice in the world is sometimes right, but sometimes, others could provide some prospective that could offer valuable alternatives to our "bomb em into the stone-age" or "starve the population into revolt" policies.
Leaders are rarely affected by the sanctions until millions of civilians have already paid with their lives. We are too smart to keep enforcing these ignorant policies.
I have seen support for the war, support for peace and a withdrawal, support for the troops, very limited substantial support for the VA, support for the families, support for the victim's families of 9/11, support for the NYFD, support for nearly everything, but I have seen no support for the terrorists.
I would suggest that either you may be seeing something that is not there, or you simply believe, like our President, that all should be sheep to his ideas, "If you're not with us, your with the enemy!" I would like to think that I would have rejected similar statements from Adolph, had I been alive then, as I do to those statements used today.
I swore an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and no where in it are the words, "A citizen must agree at all times with the elected leadership". I have read it many times, perhaps there are some articles not openly released to the public? If anyone could quote them, I would be grateful.
Or maybe it only applies for Republican Presidents? It surely did not apply during Clinton's Presidency. We spent $50 million investigating his private humidor. That doesn't count Whitewater or any of the other numerous investigations that led to nothing.
If not, perhaps it is time for you to re-read the Constitution. I believe that is supposed to apply to all citizens, regardless of party affiliation. Again, if I am wrong, please quote the article.

They just want attention. Those people want media and news affiliates to cover their stories so they are heard......what it is that they are claiming hasn't been discovered yet..... :-(
I don't mind them, they are just like any one peddling for money on the street now, you can't trust them that they are homeless. One man was documented as peddling on the street, walking home to his mansion, and when asked why he peddled on the street, "had no comment." Money does that to people, especially those who are paid to do things.
Politics have a lot of money behind them, just ask Hilary.......why would she run for president when her husband smoked but didn't inhale, or had his thing sucked without inhaling???

Grow up and become a mature human, for evans sake! Your only allegiance is to PLANET EARTH and, in second place, THE HUMAN SPECIES!
If you have a flag, you deserve to see it burned. If you consider yourself part of a "race" or "nation", you deserve to have your territory invaded. It's as simple as that.
