Again, I asked, "if you have to lose 1 out of 5" I know that we wouldn't want to lose any of those 5 but that's why I am asking :)

Probably eye sight, my other four senses would heighten to make up for the loss, I'd most likely have to do a job change, but that would be my decision, without the sense of smell I wouldn't be able to smell the wonderful aroma's of the world. I could also not detect bad food or spoiled milk, hearing would be the cruelest lose, not being able to hear the birds singing, or the children playing, touch feeling a slight breeze blowing over your body on a mild spring day, the loving touch of my lover as he brushes his finger tips against my body. the fifth sense eludes me, wouldn't be taste because when u have a head cold and your nose is stuffed up everything taste weird,
so in my opinion taste and smell go together,
Plus with the proper motivation maybe I could perfect my meditations and develope the astrial sight I've read about.
On the down side of sight lose, I'd miss my books, the loving expressions of my lover, the rattle snake at my feet.
yes we should protect our senses the lose of anyone of them would be a traject disaster.

I have lost partial hearing during VN war, not choosing to. Eyes are getting old now, must have reading glasses for everything. Enjoy your youth! Praise the Lord for your health.

My sight. I would lose this so I can be more receptive to what my soul sees, rather than my eyes.
