A lover can be a good friend, a good friend not necessarily be a lover.
In this case it depends how good is your friend in caring and loving you. If you Have developed a trust, it is possible that your good friend be your lover.

Timeline is important here.
Personally I do not see my good friend (say known for few years) becoming my lover. Cos we would have been lovers sooner and not stay as platonic best friend instead all these time.
Yet I do see my lover becoming my good friend over the years of being together, sharing our lives and going through thick and thin.

Yah! Becoz realtionship has stages well wen ur in a good friend stage and ur relationship is higher and higher until it becomes a lover.

yes of course. isnt a persons spouse also their best friend? if they had another friend which was "better", would they really marry the lesser one?
love requires friendship, and friendship requires love. they work together.
if the other person doesnt feel attracted, and it causes the loss of a friendship, then that person may have not been the best of friends in the first place.

hi,as they say friends can be lovers but lovers cant be friends!
you have to scale which is more important to you he as your friend or as you boyfriend?as my bestfreind told me wen we both fell in love,if i choices our friendship more than our love thats because i want to treasure and our memories till time comes,but if i choice our love i means i want to be with you till forever ends,
thats wat we hold till now we are super freinds 11 years and counting!

maybe..for some person but it's better to let the relationship just as it is..friend remains friend..even though you get apart.. but when it changed into love..it's hard..more efforts are needed
