The most important thing in making pisang goreng(fried banana) is the choosing of the banana itself. Try to find the ripe banana (the ones with darkened/black skin) since they are sweeter and will make better taste pisang goreng.

Mixture : eggs, flour, sugar, and a bit of salt. Just put everything in a bowl and mix them together.

Peel and slice the banana. Dip into the mixture, and fry it in the cooking oil until golden brown.
It is better to use low heat, so that the fried banana comes out soft in the inside, but crispy on the outside.

My God! The answer above me, with due respect is too elaborate. We in Malaysia have a simpler method :

Mix some rice flour with water, until its thick and creamy. Dip a young banana (I haven't gone into details here on what type of bananas) into the mix and just pop it into deep fryer.

We do not mash the banana or add egg into the mixture.

8 Bananas; peeled

1/2 c Self-rising flour

1/2 c Rice flour

1 tb Cornstarch

1 c ;Water

1/2 ts Salt

4 tb Fine brown sugar

Oil; for deep frying

Slice each banana lengthwise. Sift flours and add to water. Stir until consistency of cream. Add salt. Heat oil and, when smoking, dip each piece of banana in batter. Shake off excess and lower into hot oil. Fry until golden brown and roll in brown sugar. Serve with ice cream. As quoted from the book, "This is an exotic way to treat bananas and it's practically a national snack among migrant populations in Southeast Asia who serve it with scoops of coconut or mango ice cream." Don't use the ussual banana, instead use plantain.
Mix flour, milk, little bit salt, sugar, egg and water until thick and creamy.
Then cut the plantain as you like, dip it into sauce then fried until golden brown. If you like you can mix jackfruit and plantain then fried it.
