There haven't been any attacks since the invasion on Afghanistan, but some experts thing they are just reorganizing. The war in Iraq seemed to weaken any other ties to the money they had through that country, but the American people are the worst critics now.
They like watching American Idol in their living rooms, just so long as 9/11 doesn't happen where they live, or affect anyone that they love.

I don't believe that theory at all. If we fall asleep and think everything is wonderful and complacent, than we will learn the awful truth to that question in due time. Even Cheney has admitted, "it's not if, but when". Our "enemies" aren't only Muslim fundamentalists or terrorists. They are from all nations, all nationalities. Remember Timothy McVeigh? Let's have a roll call of prisoners at Gitmo! Not all are of the Islamic faith. Our number one priority better be to close the borders and to face the issue of illegal immigration. That's where our threats will lie. If we ignore the backdoor, they'll sneak in through the windows, too.

If we leave without finishing the fight, they will surely see this as a sign of weakness. Bin Laden said it himself that we will not stomach a long fight and if they can outlast the Americans they can unite the Arab world against us. They are just waiting to see if they can outlast us before they attack Israel and us, don't forget that they will have Russia on their side. I don't think China will get involved because they like this capitalistic movement going on in their country. Everyone is making lots of money and modernizing. The young people have adopted many western habits.

I doubt it. For one thing, not all terrorists are Muslim. For another, the majority of the people hurt in our current wars, especially in Iraq, aren't terrorists -- not the ones that attacked us -- and so the real terrorists have seen how easy it is to distract us.
I hope it doesn't happen. But one of the most useless ways to try to stop violence is violence... at least, when our return violence isn't specifically targetted enough. We're just creating more hatred.

I think they more likely to attack, now they know Bush is an idiot. He attack Iraq to end terrorist rather than searching in Pakistan for the remnants of Al Qaida.

No, they had already hated us before 9/11 and will hate us as long as islamo fascism exists. Nothing can calm them down, I've seen it first hand in when visiting my home country.

No. They are patient and judging from all the anti-war sentiment in the U.S., we are not.
