Che Guevara, no doubt about it. The Argentine Revolutionary joined Castro's movement in the late 50's and was later assisinated, he has been an icon ever since. He can be seen daily on T-shirt, and poses as the figure-head for popular political rebel band Rage Against the Machine. Also, there was a movie made "Motorcycle Diaries" about a journey he made through South America in hid mid 20's that formed his ideals and fueled his passion, its great I recommend it. His influence reminds of a time when communism fought toe to toe with democracy.
