In WCW, his name was spelled Zbysko when he commented the matches, but it is spelled Zbyszko. It is derived from a Polish wrestler, Stanislaus Zbyszko, who wrestled in the 20s. Stanislaus Zbyszko's surname was chosen by his friends, because he was brave when he was a child, it is the name of a legendary medieval Polish knight. His real surname was Cyganiewicz (please do not ask me how to pronounce it! ;-) )
