Well genetically speaking they exist due to creation. That is what most believe and what the blind seems to overlook in the majority. Through the years being Gay of course represented Happy. Homosexual of course is the attraction of the same sex and is looked down upon by many in this world; so as you can expect the "Gay People" are not happy, but just living there lives as they were made and making the best of life as all people do. They do not exist for any such reason; they exist because they do and in this world because someone exists and they are not to our standards of living; does not mean we have the right to remove them, slander them or hurt them in any way. We do of course have the right to question and with questions come answers. Now Why Do You Exist?

gays and lesbians are people. It is their orientation and it is not a choice.
If you want to know why they exist you obviously have an issue. They "exist" because they are people just like you.
Accept all people for their differences as well as their similarities. You blood pressure will go down.

why would u even ask a question as silly as that ?? are gay ppl not human?? dont they breathe the same air we do ?? dont they have to work.eat, drink to survive??? just cause their sexual preference is different doesnt mean their right to " exist" should be questioned.. cmon widen ur thinkin and dont be so shallow and naive bout the gay culture..theyre just ppl like everyone else.. and trust me after seein u askin this question ill say they even have bigger hearts then you atleast !!! good luck tryin to make it in life with an attitude like that !!

There is no conclusive scientific answer currently. However, I personally believe that it's just a genetic mutation. Certainly, the vast majority of people are not homosexual, and there would be no reason for members of any species to be homosexual. The goal here is to pass on your genes to increase the population of your species in the environment! And you can't do that if you can't reproduce!
However, we're humans, and we can deal with this in a civil manner. I do not believe at all that it is the choice of the individual to choose homosexuality, and so it is extremely unfair and unjust to focus any hatred and prejudice toward them. They shall be treated as you would any other heterosexual, although it is certainly odd.

Gay people exist for the same philisophical reasons that coloured people, oriental people, hippies, communists... etc exist - it keeps the world interesting.
