ok, lets just say you were a 14 year old girl who is lead singer in a rock band (that kicks @$$) with your friends. life is pretty good. hanging out with them, dont really expect a career in that area but are deffinitly welcome to any chances at fame. its mainly all about the music and fun. but then you are presented with the oportunity to become a solo artist. you think this is a great oportunity, but you feel guilty about leaving behind your friends. you will become a rockstar with out them with you. but this is a great career chance. especially since singing is your PASSION! your parents are ok with both ideas too. what would you do? stay with your friends, or pursue the solo career. what would you tell your friends?

well, I think you should hangon with your friend. it's still too young for your age to be solo, should gain more experience before you set yourself flying alone, the world out there is a mass.

tell your friends you are going solo but also reassure them you may be gone but you will bring them when or if you get anywhere and don't forget them. more than a few groups have done this rob zombie did it for his brother biggie smalls did it for his squeeze. just what ever you say do it and most of all pursue your happiness what concerns me is your unanxious answer that you don'tcare if you make it big then you say solo career and singing is your passion. do what is best for you and it may take a little time but bring your friends as well.

Solo career. True friends would want the best for you and will understand.

Good friends would show support and understanding.
They should not chastise you for pursuing greener pastures. After all, things change and one cannot guarantee that the group would not split up eventually.

Bear in mind... when you are young... grab every golden opportunities that come your way.

Opportunities do not knock frequently.

How serious is this opportunity? If it is the real thing take it, you friends will understand or eventually get over it. If they don't then you don't really need them in your life. Real friends wouldn't want you to pass this up.
