chollorophill a an emperical formula c55H72O5N4MG and molecular weight 893.in pure state of pigment it is blusih green.therefore it is called universal photosynthetic pigment.

b - carotene is the most common carotene is the most common in carotene. ALL CAROTENE HAS MOLECULAR FORMULA C40H56. , colour is commonly orange or ornage red pigments ,its both ends are cyclicised .it is asource of vitamin A.
