My doctor gave me a list of medications I can take, Sudafed is one of them also I believe Tylenol cold. I would ask your Dr for sure though. I am positive about the sudafed! Good luck and I hope that you get to feeling better!! Becareful when taking vitamin C. I heard that if you take too much of it and can end your pregnancy.

When I was 12 weeks pregnant I had a cold. I was given Cetirizine for 3 days which stopped the pesky sneezing. The baby's just fine.

You should consult with your doctor. When I was pregnant last year I had hell of a cold and my doctor said I could only take Robitussin and only if I felt reeeeeally bad. It's always better if you stick to nothing or just naturals like vitamin C or so.

Nothing. Just rest, drink lots of water, eat broths, light foods, maybe breathe in some steam from boiling water. The babies 1st trimester is a time for extreme growth and rapid development of all organs. Important to stay away from any types of meds, alcohol, harmful chemicals. Just relax and pamper yourself (in a bland way). Good luck!!

Don't take anything at all!!!! Go to your doctor and ask him what is safe to take. That is the best way to go. You don't want to take something and find out later it was a potential risk to your baby. Go to your doctor.
