Bangalore to kanyakumari tour..?

Hi, i am planning to take my mom to kanyakumari (only) from bangalore . Is train a better optionthan bus? Is it possible to leave on friday night and come back to bangalore by monday morning? (I do not want to go by package tour.)

both of best choice depend on your what you like. i like better to train because of train take of little time for long journey so all have a nice journey. bye bye.
