I see all these people secretly writting and chatting, going on and about with this deception and dishonesty. What happened to the sacred bind of marriage? Does no one know what it means to be faithful? and the whole "till death do us part" bit? It really angers me how common infidelity really is. At least they could have the decency and the heart to talk to their spouse before they do anything stupid or if that loving feeling is gone, do the divorce thing. It makes no sense to mean why people cheat. You want something exciting, go skydiving! What happened?

Everytime I get married, I take it seriously...lol. Relax. Live and let live, right? Let us not worry about things beyond our control. If you are happy with your values and feel good about your marriage, then congrats. For those who see life a bit more liberally, life is too short to worry about your judgment or approval. Besides, isn't marriage just a man-made institution? So, if we made this up, why can't we modify along the way? It's like religion, everyone got one and none of them are quite the same. So, Ms. P...rude, if it still bothers you, a little weed might help take the edge off. Enjoy!

I was recently cheated on! It has completely devestated me in every way possible. I dont know why my husband did what he did, but I can say this...It had nothing to do with me, and I did nothing wrong. He acted in a very selfish way, Period! People in the world have become so self involved that they make excuses for bad behavior, and in turn its excepted to others. For example my husband said "i met someone, and she was nice, she didnt complain". Wow, now thats a good reason for hurting an entire family! Others have said, its how I was raised, I didnt mean to do it, I wasnt thinking... The key to these excuses is the word I. There is no excuse for causing someone pain and heartache. I truely think that people throughout the years have come to think that lovers, partners, friends, and even family, can be easily replaced, disposible human beings! Every magazine, every television show, and every thing on the internet makes it okay, "it happens". Its not right, and yes I too wonder what happened to make this act so tolerable.

Marriage as a hobby? I have never heard of that one and i agree with you it should not be a hobby it should be a sacred bond that should NEVER be broken or betrayed. When we say our vows we are to mean them and not take them lightly as we vow before Almighty God to love honor and be faithful to each other til death do us part. What has happenned is people are selfish and not selfless and they only want what they want out of the marriage and do not care about the other persons needs or wants. As Americans we have made marriage as a joke and this is just not right!

because marriage and bulding the consequent relationship is an uphill task.
it requires patience to absorb pain,
forgiveness to forgive your partners hurtful talks and things.
toil to cook take care of house ,kids, husband and for men taking care of finances and responsibility of kids and wife.
it is like a garden which needs nurturing.
and its true colors are apperent only after many many years in terms of kids and sound relationship.
people want fun, sex, enjoyment.
they want the easy way out.
how can they appreciate marriage then?
they harp about"the one".
but hey never get "the one".
the reason "there is no perfect person".
there is no" the one".
they lack the will for committment, they lack the will for toil.
they lack the will to convert their spouse into "the one".
hence they have " no one"
only flings.
there is no short cuts to success u need hard work.
its true for marriage too.

It all started in California as most bad things do and spread across the entire United States. Look at the trash Hollywood puts out.

People are lazy, scared, and society has become all about being a victim of someone elses actions and not your own. Oh to go back to a time when being a gentleman ment more than being polite.

marriage is not a hobby...its a social convention...if anyone take it as a hobby than there can be a risk of getting married and get others to commit marriage...in many many times in hie/her life...thats not decent somehow...however ...the convention of "marriage" started when man started to be socialized and civilized...
