Maybe I'm ignorant but I've only just heard of the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid. What do you think about it? Do you think it's better that the Kinsey scale?
For any who don't know what I'm talking about, this explains Klein:

And this explains Kinsey:

I'm not asking whether you'd use it to tell you what your sexual preference is. Clearly, you'd know better than any test.
I'm asking whether you think the ideas behind it are accurate, does it give a good representation of the different kinds of sexual preferences people have? If a completely straight person wanted to understand the varying levels of homosexuality, would the Klein Grid be a good way of explaining it to them?
Or do you think it's complete buIIshit?

Human sexuality is very complex. I think it's rather silly to develop scales and grids on how to categorize people. It's the same as using tests to classify a person's intelligence or personality. These are all things that originate in the brain. We can objectively evaluate other parts of the body like the heart, liver, lungs, etc. But we are only beginning to slightly understand the brain. I guess we can rate ourselves on these scales but I don't think it really it means much. We don't always know how we're going to respond to things emotionally or sexually.

It was Freud who said that human sexuality is fluid.
You gotta look at it like a scale - with 100% homosexual on one end, and 100% heterosexual on the other. His theory was that no person will ever be 100% at either end. Everybody falls somewhere in between.

I don't need a grid or chart to explain my sexuality to me. I am quite capable of understanding that for myself. After all, who should know you better than anyone else but yourself?
