True, all of us will die someday, but at least while we still live, it's worth to make our life meaningful.
I mean, making yourself miserable or commiting suicide just because of the fact that you are going to die anyway doesn't sound right.
Okay, if this is coming from a child, tell him or her that life can be good if we want it to be, and come to think about it, if everyone doesn't die, this world is gonna be crowded. That sounds bad...^_^

The point of living? Some of us don't really believe that there's any one point for our existence, and that life is at its very essence futile and pointless. However, this pointlessness affords every one of us the opportunity to define our lives in whatever manner we desire. As you grow up, you learn what is important to you as an individual, you establish your own beliefs and morals, your own goals... and ultimately you reach your own personal reason for being. Life is at its core pointless, but there are so many things to experience and to learn that it isn't very difficult to find something or other to hold on to, to believe in, and ultimately to live for.

the point i would say it to do all the things that you have done. and all the things you will do.and being as happy as possiable doing them. and who knows what may lie after death .this life might be just another step for us humans to take .look at all the happy times that you have had. thats one reason alone .after death it might be much better.as they say live life to the fullest.

to learn, and accomplish what you came here to do. yes life has seemed pointless to us all at times, but only when we have no clue what we want, or we do but just aren't accomplishing it. I used to feel this way until i thought very long and hard about what wanted in life. just remember to listen to yourself and try not to let others influence you too much and drag you down.

Because despite not understanding life we still crave it. In asking the question you have answered it you desire more knowledge. Life is desire for continuation we continue because we have not yet learned how to let go.
