I have a brother that has taken a 5th wheel trailer with my name on it, and a computer that is on my credit. We started a company two years ago in which he started embezling. I thought I got all of my credit away from him but he still came up with another Wells Fargo card in which he ran up another $20,000+ before they contacted me and told me I was gauranteor. He told me he would keep up the payments on the trailer and the computer, but has failed several times, putting my credit score on the line. Now he has the trailer hid, and finding him is tough in the state of Texas. Caan and Abel comes to mind....

File a no responsibility for debt
on him at the local court, including the name of your business. (If the computer is not used for the business, it was not to be charged to the business.) Yes, this is fraud as far as I'm concerned. Good luck
in recovering your loss. (I'd see a lawyer also.)

Sad to say, he's shown his true colors. Accepting his promise to make the payments was one spot you went wrong. By allowing him to benefit in any way from his illegal activities is in a sense condoning them and setting yourself up for the next "con". Consult an attorney and learn about tough love. Sometimes saying no to wrong behavior is a sign of love. Better than murder anyway don't you think?
