It has to be a Master or Visa card. I dont consider Maesto & Co. as Credit Cards.

I am in the UK and the prepaid credit card I have is the Titanium cash plus. Out of them all, I found this one the best.
It is Mastercard and very useful for buying online.
All the information is available on the website.
A word of caution, avoid the ones that ask you to send documents like ID through the post. The Titanium card can be applied for online and Id verified at the Post Office.

assuming you are going to pay it off in full each month, does it matter, so long as it is visa.

if you are not then lowest interest rate.

personally i used capital one, but the limit was rubbish and the interest really high, but my credit was destroyed by business failure and beggers cant be choosers. I had to pay £200 up front for a £200 limit, but I was able to use it rebuild credit history.

in fact, they still have my £200 becasue its too easy to limit yourself when you have such a low limit, so Ive never got rid of it. use it to put petrol in car each month then pay off once a month
